Press once and say:
“There’s a pothole on Main Road in Rondebosch.”
Where your report goes in Cape Town
- National roads (the N1, N2 and N7) go to SANRAL.
- Provincial roads go to the municipal manager’s office for now, until Road Badger has an email for the Western Cape roads department.
- City streets go to the municipality: until Road Badger has Cape Town’s own fault desks, the municipal manager’s office receives them, and Road Badger follows them up there.
Road Badger covers all of Cape Town, including Bellville, Khayelitsha, Mitchells Plain, Durbanville, Table View, Wynberg, Somerset West and Strand.
What you can report
Streetlights, robots, potholes, missing drain covers, road signs and markings, and illegal dumping. When your neighbours report the same fault, they join the same ticket: the desk gets one clear report with a count.
